TestTrack TCM includes support for running and monitoring automated test scripts. If you’re using QA Wizard Pro, that support is ready out of the box. We also have a plug-in for TestComplete and instructions for integrating other tools into the TCM framework. Don’t hesitate to ask support how to best connect TestTrack TCM to your existing automated tool set.
The mechanics of setting up and scheduling test runs is very straightforward once you understand the process.
Setup Test Cases
Step 1 is to associate your automated scripts with test cases in TestTrack. Edit the test case and click the Files tab.

Next, click the Scripts subtab, open the Select Scripts dialog, and check the scripts you want to run for the test case. It’s not required, but probably a good idea to run each script from the test case to make sure everything is working as you expected before you put the test case into “production.”
Generate Test Runs
Once you associate scripts with test cases, the automation just flows with your existing testing cycle. As you generate test runs from each test case, the script associations will be pulled over to each test run.
Schedule Script Execution
After you’ve generated test runs and assigned them to testers. Each tester can schedule the automated scripts to run by opening their assigned test run and clicking the Files tab. The script you setup for them is already waiting to be run.

From here, the tester can run the script or schedule it to run at a certain date and time.

That’s it in a nutshell. A complete overview of the functionality and how to use it is included in the Automated Testing Support section of theĀ TestTrack User Guide.
One caveat, the scheduling functionality is Windows-only right now.
