TestTrack Studio includes defect tracking (TestTrack Pro) and test case management (TestTrack TCM). Since both pieces are within the same interface they have a tight integration.

This articles contains two versions of a sample SOAP applications that automatically generate test runs in TestTrack TCM. The first version is a stand alone console application. This could be used in an automated build process. The second version is meant to be used with TestTrack triggers. When a defect is fixed, automatically generate test runs for the linked test case.

A popular feature request is the ability to attach to a TestTrack defect when a file is promoted. While this is something we periodically review when we consider enhancements for future relases, this can be done using triggers in the meantime.
